When you have expectations, you look forward to an event or occurrence. If you expect greatness, you will receive greatness. However, it might not come in the way you hope it would be. This is because not everything we expect is in line with what God wants for us.

It is necessary to link your faith with the word of God. When things begin to fall apart, when the setbacks begin to take hold and disappointments happen, expectations for good things become difficult. Expect greatness even when things are falling out of place and when the harsh reality of life pokes its head out.

God is still on the throne. You have an anchor that keeps your soul. You’re anchored to greatness. Always tell yourself that it is well even when things are not going according to plan. Believe that God is making a way where there seems to be no way and His plans will always fall into place.

Expect growth for that business which seems to be failing. Expect prosperous relationships. Expect that job you have been praying for to come through. Expect your healing. God is not done with you yet. Proverbs 10:28 says that the hope of the godly results in happiness, but the expectation of the wicked comes to nothing.

Always expect happiness instead of depression. Quit dwelling on negative expectations. Stop thinking that you would not receive your financial breakthrough, or that you will never succeed, or your business will never flourish. God loves and cares for His own.

Thank Him in advance for all the good things coming your way. You will receive that healing and breakthrough. God will finish everything that he started. He is fighting our battles so do not give up. Keep expecting greatness and happiness in your life despite your situation. Consistency, dedication, and perseverance will carry you to your destination.
